Why did I create the Black&Gifted Blog? Well, that’s a good question. I follow a great number of “Black Blogs” myself on Instagram, Facebook and Tumblr. As a follower of the blogs I don’t always get to connect with other artists like I want. It’s always a fight for exposure, which I hate, so I always end up going on about my business. If there’s something you wish existed then create it, right? With that being said, I decided to create my own space where I can connect with talented Black artists. Black&Gifted Blog is a platform where others have the opportunity to speak on their passions, display their talents and make connections!
It is important that we utilize our resources. We…yes, YOU AND I (and everyone else in this world) are our biggest motivation. I’m always willing to show my support whether that be sharing a post, purchasing a t-shirt, listening to a song, etc. Ask yourself, “What can I do to better myself and others? What can I do to SUPPORT?”
If you are still reading here’s a little about me:
I am a graduate of Arkansas Tech University where I earned my Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Graphic Design and a minor in Spanish. I like to think of myself as a creative. I’m interested in many things and I don’t want to be placed in a box. I have many talents and I’m always searching for ways to utilize all of them.
I’m a Boston Celtics, Packers, Tech N9ne & Chris Brown fanatic who enjoys milly rockin’ and hitting a slight DAB every now and then!
